About Jack
I started my tutoring career as an undergraduate student in London. After quickly finding my feet, ironing out some of the wrinkles all new tutors experience, and meeting my first students, I went from strength to strength. In my career as a tutor I have worked with over 200 students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. In every case I have taken the time to ensure that my style works for them and, where it hasn't, I have adapted.
My performance as a tutor led me to take a senior academic role with my agency and school . This allowed me the opportunity to specialise in working with neurodiverse students, and in developing entire academic programmes for all our students.
Throughout my tutoring career, I have been commended for my patience, for going the extra mile to ensure my students are comfortable, safe, and that they enjoy the process, and I have always them to deliver results beyond expectation.

A typical lesson series for me involves a short 'get-to-know-you' chat between us. This is such an important step as it lets us make sure the objectives are clear, set goals together, and also build a nice foundation from which to work and learn.
From here, I start to tailor.
I believe firmly that every student is unique, and that playing to strengths and addressing weaknesses should be the superpower of a tutor. I use a combination of interactive exercises, games, projects, traditional teaching, assignments and examination to make sure you feel confident and ready for whatever comes next on your academic journey.
