About Isaac
I have been working in wardrobe/costumes on and off-Broadway for just over a decade. I have worked as a milliner (hat maker), tailor, day worker, and general costume maker. My side job is at an after-school program for people with autism, so I also have a good foundation of teaching and working with those who think and/or move differently. Sewing is my passion and I spend a lot of time both in and out of work doing it.

I want to be able to teach you to create the things you want to make. Every lesson is tailored to what type of projects you are interested in and what materials you have to use. I can teach intro to sewing, both hand and machine, taking measurements, doing alterations, doing repairs, and creating small projects. I do not create patterns from scratch, but I can teach you how to choose a stock pattern, cut the fabric, and assemble the pieces. If you have an interest in theatre specific work, I can also help with that!
I have experience with teaching and supporting all types of people - children, adults, people with disabilities, beginners, and people who need a refresh or want to expand their skills.
