- What kind of experience do you have?

I have 20+ years experience working within corporate environments for some of the big household names as a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, Head of Learning and Development, Management Development Consultant and Senior Learning and Development Manager.

I have spent more than 20 years supporting and developing staff, managers, senior managers and executives in performance improvement for themselves and their teams. Delivered numerous workshops and management development programmes for business skills, all of the the 20 plus years involved daily recruitment activity and interviewing staff, managers and top executives as well as involvement in local projects with schools - delivering CV writing and Interview Skills sessions for sixth form students as well as involvement with the Princes Trust on career guidance programmes.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

Most students come to me for CV writing coaching and interview skills. Some have been out of work for a while and are wanting to sharpen their skills, others have upcoming interviews and want to get the right advice to increase their chances of winning the job over other candidates. some students are further on in their careers and are looking for guidance in how to enhance their chances of promotion. All of which is well within my experience to provide.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

Let's be honest here, I've seen countless other tutors across the web suggesting that they can increase your changes of interview success, your career opportunities and your CV but when I review their credentials, they have never had the extensive experience that I've got as a Recruitment Manager, Hiring Manager, Talent Acquisition specialist and Interviewer. In my career in Recruitment and Talent Development, that spans more than 20 years, I've recruited and interviewed 1000's of applicants. I've lead recruitment campaigns, built recruitment teams for clients, designed and delivered recruitment and selection frameworks for large organisations and trained Line Managers from multiple companies in the art of search and selection and interviewing. Who better to provide you with guidance and support at this stage in your career? CV writing and Interview techniques, life coaching, career development, performance improvement and performance management are my focus areas and form part of my on going daily work life.

The coaching that I provide is not just a one-size-fits-all generalist view of CVs and interviews. I work with you with open and honest feedback that makes you think about what's needed to improve your CV and interview potential. This is knowledge that stays with you for a lifetime. I still continue to hire and on-board many new employees for organisations via social media recruitment, headhunting and advertising medium and continue to advise Hiring Managers on recruitment strategies to provide them with the best candidate options.

- How much do you charge?

I charge from £40 per session - depending on the subject and is no less than 1 hour or longer if needed.

- Where do you teach?

I teach from student's homes or from a public place (such as a quiet coffee shop if that's more suitable and depending what is easier based on time and availability). I live in Northamptonshire so can travel to Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Daventry and Milton Keynes areas easily.

- When are you available?

I work full time for as a consultant during the day, so evenings and weekends are free for these tuition activities.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Adults of all ages.

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

Online tutoring can be done via Google Hangouts or Skype - which ever is easiest or familiar. If you've not held online video calls I can send log in details and make the arrangements so that it's straightforward. Payment is via secured online transfer and details are made available when the tutoring session is confirmed. All online payments are processed via secure providers such as Paypal etc.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I help to develop people with performance improvement around leadership, CV and interview skills, coaching and management skills.

I now focus on developing others to achieve their potential through 1 to 1 coaching and training workshops and have enormous success when coaching others for self-improvement and business improvement.

You'll find that my easygoing, friendly and non-judgemental approach will help to support and develop you in the skills you require.
