About Caitlin
I am an environmental sciences an geography graduate (BSc at 2:1) who graduated in summer 2020. I am now working as a digital data and technology specialist on the Civil Service Fast Stream. I have experience in private tutoring and mentoring secondary school students in mathematics, physics, biology and geography with students from year 7 to year 11 (including GCSE exam preparation). I am passionate about inspiring ambition and a drive for success in young people and equipping them with the skills and knowledge to excel in these areas of study, enabling them to open doors for their future.

I strongly believe that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to learning, and that tutoring sessions should be tailored to the individual students needs in order to be stretching and challenging and allow them to develop their skills. I have experience using a range of techniques, ranging from guided worked exam style answers and examples, discussion based reasoning exercises to build deeper subject understanding and engagement, practical activities and project based learning, long answer and essay structure sessions etc. and I like to build a tailored work schedule to meet the needs of the student and help them to achieve their goals
