About Rachel
I’m someone who hasn’t always loved math, but really came around when I was able to physically see the concepts I was learning through physics. I know that there can lack relevance in what some math programs teach, so I like to get creative with applications and lessons to show you how interesting it can be or other cool ways it can be used.

I love getting to know my students and being able to relate math concepts/rules to everyday life or sports. I like making physics fun too and relating it to things that are familiar (and might not necessarily have a clear connection). I’m also flexible with my lesson timings and length as I know sometimes when you’re having a bad day math just makes it worse. I also like to provide tips and tricks for managing anxiety and stress during tests and with test prep.
