Sometimes all we need is an extra pair of eyes to guide us in the right direction. In my many years as a student and now as an educator, knowing how to ask for help is a challenging skill to learn. As your tutor, I do my best to break down complex skills into bite-sized comprehensible tasks.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, practical, and supportive. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match the student's goals, learning style, and pace. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on helping students understand the concepts, build confidence, and develop effective problem-solving skills they can apply independently.
We will typically start by reviewing any prerequisite skills needed to be successful in the lesson. I then model for students before working through guided practice. Upon finishing guided practice, I closely monitor students as they work independently to ensure they’ve met the success criteria.
