About Lenny
Since graduating with a First Class Honours Degree from Cambridge in Biological Anthropology I have gone on to work in the museum sector in content-based roles. Currently, I work as an Interpretation Producer at the Victoria and Albert Museum, working to produce content for their temporary exhibitions programme. I work on narrative planning, design development, accessibility requirements, and all audience provisions including interactives, in-gallery trails, films, soundscapes and more.
In my school career, I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and then 3A*s and an A at A-Level in Biology, Geography, Philosophy and Ethics, and German. I continued to work across a broad range of fields during my degree as my papers combined ancient history, prehistory, genetics, nutrition, pathology, archaeology, biostatistics, and social anthropology so I have experience in a range of subject areas to degree level and am adept at grasping new topics.
In my early professional career, I developed museum narratives for museums across the world before joining the V&A museum and have experience crafting narratives in topics as wide-ranging as social history, natural history, ethnography, prehistory, and fashion. Key to my role is tailoring content to specific audiences, finding ways to explain complex concepts in accessible and exciting terms and promoting engagement in new audiences.
My experience working with young individuals began while I was a teenager when I volunteered as an assistant tutor at a local drama group. The students here were primary school age and the methods of teaching were aimed at promoting confidence in the students to perform and practise new skills. At University, I worked as a pastoral supervisor for the Cambridge summer school company, Reach. In this role, I worked with students aged between 13 and 18, chaperoning them around the country to cultural destinations, as well as devising lesson plans on careers advice and facilitating these sessions.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, sketching my three sausage dogs, and exploring the countryside. I believe I am approachable, patient, and dedicated; all skills that would make for an excellent tutor.

I was fortunate enough to be taught Ancient History by Lenny. She is patient and kind, as well as highly motivated and passionate. Lenny taught me about the cultures of Ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, which was very complex. However, she broke things down into simple, more manageable sections, so that I was able to grasp each element. Whenever I needed additional support, or needed to repeat something, she was always happy to help me.
I can't recommend Lenny enough!Exceptionally diligent and erudite individual. Lenny is great at explaining complex topics and leading her pupils to their own conclusions, teaching them how to navigate problem questions on their own and score those top marks.
