About James
I am a Cambridge Geography graduate with a strong analytical background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have developed a love for problem-solving and critical thinking, and I enjoy sharing these skills with others through teaching. I believe that maths is a subject that anyone can excel in with the right support and approach, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. My aim is not only to improve students' academic performance but also to help them develop the confidence, resilience, and independent thinking skills that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.

My lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and personality. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to ensure concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them.
Lessons are designed to build both understanding and confidence through clear explanations, worked examples, and plenty of opportunities for students to apply their knowledge independently. Whether a student is aiming to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or develop a stronger foundation in maths, I create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I focus on making lessons interactive and enjoyable, helping students develop problem-solving skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom.
