Techniques:
Maths requires experience with concepts to answer questions properly. I use past papers, break down complex formulae, solve problems, and recheck work within GCSE and A-level time limits.
Length of lessons:
Standard lessons are two-hour sessions, focusing on one to two topics depending on length and how quickly it takes to understand. This also leaves time to use past papers to simulate exam questions.
Qualifications:
As an A* maths student in both IGCSE and A-levels, I frequently took on the role of teacher in group study sessions, reteaching complex topics that students don't understand. This opportunity helped me understand what confuses classmates and find better ways to solve problems. It also taught me patience.
