About Soumya
I am currently a mathematics student at the University of Cambridge. I have many relevant qualifications ((concealed information) at GCSE, A*A*A* at A-level, full marks in UKMT challenges and Olympiads), tutoring experience and knowledge of the Oxbridge entrance process. I hope that no matter your educational experience with mathematics, through these lessons, I am able to promote a deep understanding of the subject.

Are you doing interview preparation for Oxbridge? Are you trying to get a 7 in your maths GCSE? Are you worried if A-level maths is right for you? Do you want to get a better score in the UKMT maths challenges? I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds: those who've had educational difficulties as well as those looking to be challenged. I will tailor engaging and effective lessons (from 30 mins to 2 hours) to your individual goals. In the past, I have volunteered with maths education charities to aid the mathematical journeys of high-achieving children and young adults. I have also privately tutored children whose education has been stunted by poor teaching and illness. No matter your mathematical background, I aim to promote your understanding and enjoyment of maths through these lessons.

I've seen Soumya tutor first-hand, and she is very adept at tailoring her explanations to each student. She personalises the tutoring experience based on her tutees' pre-existing knowledge and skill set. Of course, she's an extremely talented mathematician as well.
