About Dr Ben Clay
I am a surgical trainee at King's College Hospital in London, having graduated with distinction from the University of Cambridge Medical School in 2024, with a first class intercalated degree in neuroscience.
I graduated top of my year at Gonville and Caius College, won multiple university prizes, and have published multiple research papers in head and neck cancer surgery in prestigious academic journals.
I worked towards these achievements from a comprehensive and grammar state school background, showing that hard work and good advice can take you far.
I hope to work with like-minded and driven aspiring doctors, to help them achieve their full potential in the application process.

I am friendly, approachable and highly knowledgeable in the medical school application process, with particular expertise in Oxbridge Applications.
We start with a free 30 minute session to assess your current progress with your application and determine what help and advice I can offer.
We then work in two basic types of session: mock interviews and personal statement sessions.
Mock interviews last 1 hour, followed by at least 30 minutes of feedback.
Personal statement advice will take approximately 1 hour of time for review, followed by 30 minutes of feedback on a call.
