About Alex
Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a fourth-year medical student at Cambridge University. Having just been through my school years, I am well aware of the difficulties that GCSE exams pose. I firmly believe that good tutoring can dramatically improve results at this level. I gained all A-star grades in my GCSEs and have five A-star grades at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths. Furthermore, I have a first class degree in Biological Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, as well as a scholarship from Selwyn College, Cambridge. All of these qualifications make me well placed to teach the sciences and maths. I thoroughly enjoyed science and maths at school, and aim to show this passion when I teach. Tuition with me would start with a discussion of your academic goals. This is a vital first step to enable me to teach you effectively. From there, I can take you through the content for each subject, using a vast bank of resources that I've accumulated. I've even written my own notes for many sections of the courses. After learning a topic, I would assess your knowledge using an array of past paper questions. I have more than 500 hours of private tutoring experience, and have seen incredible improvements from my students. I'm sure I would be able to say the same about you!
