About Rachel
I am a professional singer-songwriter and musician with a passion for helping others to realise their full musical potential. I have been tutoring privately since 2020 and I love to help people bring out the best in their voices - every voice is so unique and each has something special to offer. I have grade 8 ABRSM in voice with distinction, and I also have grade 8 in music theory. Having studied undergraduate music at the University of Cambridge, I am thrilled to be able to help people to achieve their musical potential in both performance and theory. I also hold a Masters in Commercial Songwriting and Production.

I can cater to a range of different learning styles. I highly encourage private study in between lessons and regular vocal training for singers. I have worked with a range of pupils between the ages of 10 and 73! I believe anyone can sing and that each person has innate musicality.

Perfect! I am learning singing with Rachel, and she really emphasised the warm up routine which has been really helpful. For the guitar part of the lesson, she has been really great at teaching me the basic chords to build a foundation which we can build on. She is very patient and encouraging and that's what I really need in a teacher. I look forward to our next lesson!
