About Issie
I’m currently an A-Level student studying Economics, History and Psychology and studying Law at the University of Cambridge next year. I’ve always enjoyed reading, writing, and debating ideas, and the LNAT felt like a natural fit for me. I recently scored 30+ on the LNAT and have received offers from several top UK universities for Law, such as KCL and Cambridge.
Having just gone through the process myself, I understand how overwhelming admissions can feel, so I try to make tutoring supportive, practical and confidence-building. Outside academics I’m involved in debating/public speaking, and I read widely about politics, ethics, and current affairs.

My tutoring focuses on building confidence and clear strategy for the LNAT. I break down the exam into two parts:
Reading & reasoning — how to read passages efficiently, identify arguments, handle inference/assumption questions, and manage time under pressure.
Essay writing — how to plan quickly, structure arguments, weigh perspectives, and write clearly without needing specialist knowledge.
I teach using a mix of worked examples, timed questions, and short critiques of essay plans or paragraphs. My aim is to help students understand why high-scoring answers work, not just memorise methods.
Lessons are usually 60–90 minutes depending on preference, and I can provide short homework exercises or timed LNAT tasks between sessions if wanted.
In terms of qualifications/experience, I have scored 30+ on the LNAT and have been accepted to 3 top 10 UK universities for Law, as well as interviewed for Oxbridge. Because I’ve gone through the admissions process recently myself, I can give practical advice on strategy, personal statements, interviews, and overall preparation.
Lessons are suited for students applying for Law at university (typically 16–18 years old), including those also preparing for Oxbridge applications or wanting targeted support on the LNAT essay and critical reading skills.
