About Sophie
I have just completed my A levels in Maths, History and German, earning A*s in all three. Last year I also achieved an A in AS-level Chemistry. I have tutored maths for over a year now, supporting children with SATs and preparation for the 11+ examination.

With maths, the most important thing is practice. Therefore, I would begin each lesson with a quiz, firstly to assess your child's abilities and then to build on what we have covered in previous lessons. Lessons would also involve reviewing content, especially gaps in your child's knowledge, to build a solid foundation so they can aim for the grades they deserve. I will set homework to consolidate what has been learnt in each lesson and so your child can gain the most possible.
