About Ross
I originally graduated with a degree in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from Cambridge University and I have a second BA from London University (Goldsmiths) in English Literature. I obtained a First in both of these. I also have a Masters level degree from UCL in Neuroscience. Finally, as well as having taught A-Levels for many years, I myself have 7 A-Levels all except one with the top grade, and this provides me with plenty of personal experience with these exams.
I spent over 11 years teaching a British syllabus, mostly in Italy but also in Belgium and Taiwan. Now I have retired from full-time teaching and run my own Farmhouse hotel in Tuscany.

I always aim high but begin from wherever we need to begin. Taking an exam-centred approach, we first explore the material together but then focus early upon the questions that will be asked and what is required for a successful answer under exam conditions. Through feedback we can then arrive at a point where the student has the tools and knowledge to achieve a high grade.
