About Oliver
I am a Cambridge University graduate with a big passion for languages and for communication. I chose to take two languages at GCSE and at A-Level. From this background, I applied to study Modern and Medieval Languages at University. I am well prepared and like to check in with students on a frequent basis to ensure that my lessons are always interesting and useful.

My lessons are designed to be deeply interactive and intellectually rigorous, reflecting the tutorial style and academic expectations of Oxbridge. Drawing on methods developed during my time at the University of Cambridge, I provide both comprehensive support for students seeking greater confidence and targeted challenge for high-achieving candidates aiming to reach the very highest level. I am highly aware of the usual tests as well as the type of question asked during the interview period. Each session typically lasts one hour, though I am happy to be flexible, particularly during the interview and examination period when extended lessons may be useful. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I studied Modern and Medieval Languages (French, German, and Italian). I also hold a C2 certificate in Italian from the PLIDA examination board. I primarily work with students aged 14 to 18, especially those studying languages. However, my teaching experience extends to learners of all ages and abilities. I take care to develop an individual learning plan for each student, ensuring that lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and adapted to the student’s evolving needs. My priority is always that both teacher and student feel satisfied with the process and confident in the progress achieved.
