I’m a Cambridge University graduate with a strong passion for clear, confident learning. I’ve tutored GCSE, A level, undergraduate and postgraduate students in essays, dissertations, exams and Oxbridge applications. I’m a Cambridge University graduate offering structured, supportive tuition in academic writing, exam skills and university preparation. My lessons are practical, focused and tailored to each student’s goals. How I teach I start by identifying your strengths, gaps and deadlines, then break your goals into clear, manageable steps. I use: - Simple frameworks for essays and dissertations (planning, argument, structure, editing) - Active learning: short explanations, worked examples, then guided practice. - Model answers and mark schemes so you see exactly what “top band” looks like - Constructive, detailed feedback on your writing and interview answers I also teach you how to think like an examiner, so you can self-correct and work independently over time. Lesson length and format Most lessons are 60 minutes online (90 minutes for dissertation or intensive exam prep). I set optional homework between sessions so you can apply what we’ve covered and we review this at the start of the next class. Qualifications and experience - Cambridge University graduate - Several years’ experience tutoring GCSE, A level and university students - Extensive experience supporting dissertations, personal statements, CVs and cover letters - Specialist support with Oxbridge-style critical thinking and interview preparation Who I teach - GCSE and A level students - Foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate students - Applicants preparing for Oxbridge interviews and competitive courses - Professionals needing help with CVs, applications and clear written communication I cover dissertation support, essay planning and writing, proofreading, CV and application prep, test prep and Oxbridge interview coaching – and I adapt each session to your level, pace and confidence.
