About Patrik

Hello there! My name is Patrik and it is my pleasure to share with you my love and passion for music. Ever since I was young I played drums, ukulele and sang, and found it extremely enjoyable. My sisters and I used to sing in 4-part harmony to music in the car whilst I was tapping away on my legs and bring the ukulele on long road trips to entertain myself. I performed my first gig at the age of 10, and I have only progressed positively since then. I've been drumming since I was 8, and have learned genres all the way from classic rock to jazz and funk. After high school, I went on to be accepted as one of 20 students into my degree at the Conservatorium of popular music, with which I solidified my career and passion as a musician. I would record drum tracks for fellow musicians and perform several times a week as a session drummer. Throughout all of my years of performance, teaching, and self-education I have always found one thing to be true, music is a fulfilling art form that is enjoyable, rewarding, and something that if you work at, who knows you might even be able to make a career out of it as I have.

About the lesson

So, let’s talk about how I can help you become the best drummer you can be. I follow a 3-step philosophy to teaching. It should be fun, efficient, and goal-focused. In our 30-minute to 1-hour lessons, we will work together to achieve the results you want. With my 8 years of private tutoring experience, also my few years as a magician (I know strange fact but it’s true) and my bachelor's in music from the Conservatorium, I am equipped with the skills to help you, and be able to communicate in fun but informative ways. I will make sure that I bring my knowledge to whatever level of communication we find works best for you, as well as having a few laughs along the way.
