About Michael
I have well contributed to research producing impactful papers in leading international, peer-reviewed journals, and given conference presentation in a range of management areas. I stay abreast of the literature by continue reading and continuation to publish research.
My teaching record includes extensive contributions to learning through unit coordination, curriculum development and implementation, and teaching and learning in many areas of Management via face-to-face, blended, synchronous and asynchronous online delivery methods.
My teaching goal is to provide learning experiences that help students get jobs. I remain engaged in community service because it casts a wide a net for the sake of outreach and opportunity benefits.
My experience is represented two fold a) working in middle and upper middle management roles in the tertiary sector in Singapore, the United States, and Australia, and b) managing an award winning not for profit charitable scholarship trust in Australia. Prior to my academic experience I worked as a schoolteacher, and for a peak Australian sporting body.
The dominant theme of my career to date has been to instruct in activities that develop and sustaining learning inclusively. A student centric method of learning has been the driver of my approach to in class engagement. Being approachable, genuine, kind, and time aware, and meeting with purpose, achieves things cohesively.
