About Leda
I’m a year 11 student, who receives grade 8s and 9s throughout all subjects. Maths and sciences are my specialty, but I can teach anything, including french and geography. Although I’m a student myself, I do find I’m good at teaching others, and I find that learning from other students is actually easier for me, as they’ve recently learnt the content too. I often tutor younger years at my school, and they’ve always improved by least 1 grade in their next test. I can teach GCSE level, as well as key stage 2 and 3.

I think lessons should be at least an hour and a half long, in order to cover a fair number of topics and review them. I will normally start by teaching the content, and then move on to exam questions. This method works well for me, and has helped me achieve grade 8s and 9s in my exams in the past years, and it works well for all the younger years I’ve tutored previously. I can tutor from primary school, all the way to GCSE.
