About Kayla
I have just completed a Bachelor of Philosophy majoring in English and Literary Studies, and Classics and Ancient History, and with Honours in English and Literary Studies at the University of Western Australia in 2024. I completed my Honours in creative writing with a focus on representations of autistic people in prose fiction. I completed ATAR methods, literature, modern history, psychology, physics and human biology, and got an ATAR of 99.55, and a general exhibition ranking of 28th and a certificate of excellence in ATAR Psychology. I am a writer and have self-published three novels on Amazon and Kindle.

Sessions typically an hour per week for one subject for primary or high school aged students. Students can either provide their own work which I would help them through for the hour, hence guiding the session themselves, or if they would prefer they can tell me the topic they are covering that week and I will provide worksheets, notes and examples to work through. Through tutoring at Kumon for 4 years and privately for 3, I have found that both work, depending on what the student wants to get out of it.
