About Theodore
"I structure feedback so you know exactly where you stand after every session. We begin with a diagnostic level test before we start to ensure we hit the right difficulty. IELTS and TOEFL candidates require a specific pace that covers all exam requirements. My 17 years of experience allow me to identify your weak points quickly.

"Sitting in my first linguistics seminar, I realized that language is a puzzle. I understood how to map grammar to real-world communication.
I have taught 332 students including immigrants and candidates for IELTS or TOEFL. My classes focus on reading comprehension, listening, and phrasal verbs. I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Macquarie and a CELTA.
I value clear writing skills. It is rewarding work. Helping someone bridge the gap between their current level and their goal feels great."
