About Em
I grew up in Canada, where English became a natural part of my everyday life. That experience shaped the way I teach today: I strongly believe that English is developed not only through studying, but through using the language consistently in real situations.
I have also taught at three-day intensive English immersion programs in Brazil, working with professionals who wanted to improve their communication and become more confident using English in real-life and corporate environments.
During these immersions, students spend several days actively using English through conversation, presentations, group activities and professional communication practice. This experience has given me extensive practice helping learners move beyond simply “knowing English” and start actually using it, especially in situations where confidence and clear communication matter.

I have been an English teacher for 5 years, working especially with Brazilian students and focusing on real-life communication, pronunciation, and building confidence when speaking.
I grew up in Canada, where English became a natural part of my everyday life. That experience taught me something important: English isn’t developed only by studying grammar rules, you develop it by living and using the language.
In my lessons, the goal isn’t simply to understand English. It’s to start using it from day one.
We mainly work on:
• Natural, real-life communication
• Clear pronunciation
• Sentence building and speaking naturally
• Vocabulary used in everyday situations and at work
• Confidence and fluency when speaking
I also teach my students how to create their own English immersion routine so that the language becomes part of their daily life rather than something they only use during class.
My lessons are ideal for teenagers and adults who:
• Understand English but struggle to speak
• Want to improve their pronunciation
• Need English for work, travel, presentations, or everyday life
• Want to feel more confident communicating in English
• Are living in Canada or preparing to move to an English-speaking country
