About Nidhi

Presently, I am a medical student at James Cook University. I completed
the Canadian International Matriculation program, with an average of 93% which is equivalent to an ATAR of 97.00.

My passion for teaching arises from being educated by teachers who had a vested interest in strengthening the knowledgeability of their students. I witnessed how this attitude transformed my learning experience into one that was positive and enriching.

It was through being surrounded by an uplifting learning environment that I was able to complete the Canadian International Matriculation Programme with high distinction.

Although studying is an activity that can be perceived dauntingly due to increasing workloads and the introduction of complex concepts, my goal as a tutor is to shape students into efficient learners.

I plan to achieve this goal by working with students to identify areas of improvement, and individualizing lessons to strengthen knowledge retention and conceptual understanding.

About the lesson

I offer one to two hour tutoring sessions tailored to the unique learning style of students.

Through utilizing a variety of study techniques that I have adopted myself as a medical student, my goal as a tutor will be to shape learning into an engaging and non-intimidating experience for students.

In addition to homework help and exam preparation, I offer personalized tutoring sessions that are based on the curriculum taught in school. To ensure thorough comprehension of concepts, I use a variety of tried and true learning approaches such as weekly quizzes, revising practice questions and creating high-yield summaries.
