About Katherine
I am a 25-year-old certified teacher from Canada. I graduated with a double degree in social studies and secondary education. I have a passion for teaching abroad and helping students learn English as a second language. I love to make connections with my students and get to know you as a learner so that I can help you reach your goals. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, work out, and spend time with friends.

My approach involves a diagnostic period to establish what type of learner you are. From there, we will use backward design to figure out what needs to be learned or improved and then outline the steps to get you there! Typical length of lessons will be 45 minutes - 1 hour long. I have a lot of group-based experience and started my teaching career working on a tutor, one-on-one basis. You can expect my lessons to be fun and engaging yet challenging.
