About Daniel
I am 19 years old, from Cardiff. My favourite subjects are Maths and Philosophy, but am curious about everything. I am always looking to learn and to share my own learning experience with others, which is why I'm so eager to tutor. I care deeply about ensuring everybody can reach their academic potential, and as such I'm committed to providing the highest quality teaching I can. I'd like to think I'm open and friendly, and I hope that I would be a somewhat fun tutor. The process of learning and understanding new things should be enjoyable, and I aim to impart that in my lessons.

My approach to a lesson is typically as hands-on as possible - I believe that working through examples, both tutor and tutee(s) working together to solve a problem is the best way to learn. A typical lesson would last from 45minutes to an hour, but I can be flexible. I have two years of volunteer tutoring under my belt, in GCSE level maths and sciences. Since then I have passed my A-levels with 4A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and am currently studying Arts and Sciences at UCL; a degree which allows me to keep learning about a broad range of subjects, which keeps my passion and curiosity alive. I also passed grade 8 Classical Guitar with distinction and am working towards a diploma currently. I can tutor in my main subjects up to A-level, and Guitar up to grade 5,through the medium of English or Welsh.
