About Gabriel
My name is Gabriel Andlauer-Turner, and I'm a 2nd year medical student at Cardiff University School of Medicine.
I achieved A*A*AA at A-level+EPQ and 11 A*s at GCSE.
Biology has always been my favourite and strongest subject —
I achieved an A* at A level and am genuinely fascinated by how everything from a single cell to a whole human body fits together. That approach of seeing the subject holistically helps students greatly.
Having recently come through the route into medicine myself — the exams, the UCAT, the interviews — I know how daunting it can feel, and I want to make that journey clearer and less stressful for the students coming after me.
I teach because I find it genuinely rewarding to watch a difficult concept finally click, or to see a nervous applicant grow into a confident one.
I'm patient, dependable, and I take each student's goals seriously — whether that's a top Biology grade or an offer to study medicine. I'd love to help you reach yours.

I'm a medical student at Cardiff University offering Biology tutoring at GCSE and A-Level, alongside specialist support for medicine applications. Having recently been through the admissions process myself, I understand exactly what UK medical schools — and Cardiff in particular — are looking for.
For Biology, I focus on real understanding rather than rote memorisation: I break complex topics into clear, manageable concepts, drill exam technique using past papers, and adapt each session to how the student learns best. Lessons are typically one hour and held online, suiting students from GCSE through to A-Level.
For medicine applications, I offer interview coaching (covering both MMI and panel formats) and guidance on the UCAS personal statement, including the new three-question structure introduced for 2026 entry. We'll work through realistic mock interviews and refine each answer so it's reflective, specific, and genuinely stands out.
I'm patient, approachable, and properly invested in helping each student reach their goal.
