About Maya

I am fluent in French, Arabic and English. I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a passion for helping young learners build a strong foundation in language. With years of experience guiding my own daughter through school who is now in her final year of high school with excellent results. I understand how to support children in a way that builds both skill and confidence. I create a warm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to learn, ask questions, and make mistakes. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs, making learning enjoyable and effective. I can communicate closely with parents to create a personalized teaching approach that fits their child’s unique needs, ensuring we work together to support their progress effectively.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:

I use a play-based and immersive approach, combining storytelling, songs, role-play, games, and visuals to keep young learners engaged.
I emphasize speaking and listening first, allowing natural language development, then gradually integrate reading and writing.
I adapt my teaching style to each child's learning pace, interests, and strengths.

Lesson Plan:

1. Warm-up: Greeting in French, quick revision with a game or song
2. Core Lesson: Focus on a specific topic (colors, numbers, family, etc.) using interactive tools and repetition
3. Practice Activity: Drawing, matching, memory game, etc.
4. Review: Recap, key vocabulary, mini-quiz or song, and outline of next lesson
