About Rosemary

I am an experienced professional language teacher, teaching since 1992 (most of my experience is in teaching English as a second language, but I can also tutor Japanese). I am a non native Japanese speaker. I lived in Japan for 7 years and am back at university studying it at the moment. I have taught preschool age children Japanese in Brisbane and I have a current blue card.

About the lesson

While book work, grammar and vocabulary can be important, I believe language is best learnt by using it. My classes are usually interactive, with lots of student practice, moving between different focuses to develop skills (speaking, grammar patterns, vocabulary learning, reading and writing).
