About Catherene
I am trained in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) curriculum and teach cello and piano. I have performed in classical ensembles, bands, and musical productions and have played the cello in several orchestras since the age of 11. In recent years I have also spent time as a session cellist for contemporary recording artists. I enjoy the unique qualities of different musical genres and am passionate about instilling the love of music in people of all ages.

I am goal oriented in my teaching style and enjoy engaging and working with students to improve their technique, explore an area/genre of music that interests them or help them prepare for performances, assessments and exams. The basics of note reading, theory and aural will be taught to beginners and online lessons are typically 30 minutes long.
