About Alexey
Learning a language can be difficult, but lessons do not have to be stressful. I create a friendly and comfortable space where you can ask questions, make mistakes and learn at your own pace.
I have 8 years of teaching experience and a CELTA qualification, and I have worked with students of different ages and levels. I always come prepared for our lessons and take your goals seriously.
Whether you are learning English for work, travel, exams or everyday life, I will help you make steady progress and feel more confident using the language.
You do not need to be afraid of making mistakes. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, and they give us something to work on. My job is to help you understand your mistakes, improve them and see your progress.

My lessons are tailored to your interests, goals and level. I do not believe that every student should follow the same lesson plan. You tell me what you want to learn, and I build the lessons around you.
I use simple explanations, real-life examples, conversation, questions, exercises, videos and other materials. We can focus on speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening or writing, depending on what you need.
I want you to use the language, not just study it. So you will have many chances to speak and practise during our lessons. I will correct your mistakes, explain them clearly and help you improve step by step.
Every lesson is a little different, but we usually start with a short conversation or review. Then we work on the main topic or skill. After that, we practise what you have learned through exercises and conversation. At the end, we review the most important points and decide what to work on next.
For IELTS and Cambridge exams, we also practise exam tasks, strategies and common mistakes.
There is no one-size-fits-all programme. Your lessons are built around your needs, interests and goals. If you love films, we can learn through films. If you need English for work, we can focus on work situations. If you want to speak more confidently, we can make speaking the main focus.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable using the language and help you become more independent step by step.
I teach teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced level. I teach general English, speaking, IELTS and Cambridge exam preparation. I also teach Russian as a foreign language, from beginner level onwards.
