I’m certified by College Reading & Learning Association to help students with essays.

Julie is an incredible writer, editor, professor, tutor, and overall inspiration with the written word. We were tutors together years ago at Palomar College. I also was blessed that she was one of my editors at The San Diego Union Tribune when I freelanced there. Her patience and knowledge, guidance, and editing skills made my articles better and made me a better reporter. I've carried those lessons and insights with me throughout my career and life. She is a treasure to work with and learn from.

Thank you for the opportunity to recommend Julie for this position. I had the pleasure of hiring Julie to write for Palm Springs Life magazine‘s website as its senior online editor. Julie covered a variety of topics, conducting research, interviews and more to develop savvy online copy for a sophisticated audience.

She provided a vast knowledge of the greater Palm Springs area to alert our readers to new experiences.

Julie has an engaging personality that I know will connect with your students and provide the best educational relationship possible. Bottom line, she will easily fulfill and more than likely surpass your expectations in delivering a first-class level of excellence.

I highly recommend Julie Pendray! Having the blessing of meeting Julie in 2017, she was the Editor of our book, Hidden Treasures Find Yours!

We had the opportunity to dialogue frequently during the writing of the book and Julie generously did the editing on behalf of everyone who individually wrote a Chapter in the book.

Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and hard work ethic (we were on a tight timelime) were appreciated by every single individual who wrote a Chapter.

You will appreciate and enjoy your experience with Julie Pendray.

I've known Julie for 20+ years, and know her to be mature, smart, knowledgeable, articulate, patient - everything you should want. She helped edit my memoir Paying the Rent: Adventures of an Activist Lawyer, Lymer & Hart, an imprint of Garden Oak Press. She was great to work with! I'm eighty years old, was a lawyer for 25 years, and am a good judge of people. Julie is one of the best!

Julie is bright, intelligent, cheerful, energetic, empathetic and skilled. I hired her to report, write and photograph news stories for the North County Times, now part of the San Diego Union-Tribune. She is a delight to work with -- dedicated, engaging and a lifelong learner herself. Her students will be very happy to have Julie as a teacher and coach.
