About Avery

Hi! I'm a certified TEFL teacher with over 5 years of experience and more than 6,000 English lessons taught online. I’ve worked with students from all over the world and of all ages. I genuinely love helping my students feel more confident and capable in English. I’m committed to growing as a teacher, so I regularly continue my studies in English education to improve my methods and offer my students the best learning experience possible. My teaching style is patient, friendly, and supportive. I strive to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing at their own pace. When I’m not teaching, I love surfing, yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my dogs. I bring my positive energy into each lesson to help keep learning fun and meaningful.

I teach English to students of all ages and personalize each lesson to match your specific needs, goals, and level. My teaching method focuses on improving all areas of English: vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and conversation.

Each lesson builds on what we've previously learned, helping students make steady progress. I use a specialized approach that combines learning with natural discussion, so we can identify language gaps and correct them in real time.

A typical lesson includes a warm-up, focused practice (such as vocabulary or grammar), skill-building activities, and conversation practice tailored to your interests or real-life situations. The structure keeps us on track, but there’s always room for organic conversation and questions.

What sets me apart is my dedication to my students' progress. I’m committed to providing high-quality lessons in a friendly, supportive classroom environment. My students often say they appreciate how fun and encouraging my lessons feel.

These lessons are ideal for children or adults who want to improve general English, prepare for exams, boost conversation skills, or build confidence in speaking.
