About Brian
My passion for teaching comes from seeing students grow into confident musicians who enjoy expressing themselves through guitar. I create a welcoming learning environment where every student feels encouraged to ask questions, practice consistently, and celebrate their progress.
With a Bachelor's Degree and 14 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of various skill levels, helping them build solid foundations, refine advanced techniques, and perform confidently through personalized guidance and structured learning.
I believe successful learning is built on patience, consistency, and motivation. My goal is to equip students with the technical knowledge, creative skills, and confidence needed to enjoy playing guitar throughout their musical journey.

I follow a structured yet flexible teaching approach that helps students understand guitar techniques through practical application. By combining demonstrations, guided practice, and interactive learning, I ensure every lesson is engaging, productive, and suited to each student's progress.
Students explore acoustic guitar, electric guitar, chord voicings, fingerstyle patterns, hybrid picking, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, scales, modes, music theory, ear training, improvisation, harmony, songwriting, recording techniques, and live performance preparation.
Each lesson is designed around the student's musical goals and learning style. Personalised practice plans, regular evaluations, and constructive feedback help students improve technical ability, musical creativity, performance confidence, and overall musicianship at a steady pace.
