About Miriam
My name is Ugbonma. I am a native Igbo speaker from Imo State, Nigeria. I grew up speaking Igbo at home and I am passionate about keeping our language alive for the next generation. I love teaching and am very patient, friendly, and encouraging. I have been helping friends in diaspora and their children learn Igbo for over 7 years. Seeing my students speak Igbo confidently makes me very happy. I believe that a friendly and cheerful class is everything.

I teach beginners, kids in diaspora who want to speak with their grandparents, adults reconnecting with their roots, and anyone who loves Igbo culture. We will learn greetings, everyday conversations, Proverbs (ilu), food, songs, and folktales. My classes are fun and understandable to students.
