About El-Noor
-- I am a Math graduate from the University of Waterloo so I know my stuff well.
-- I am a licensed teach of Ontario to each Math and Computer Science to Intermediate and Senior students.
-- Been in the Information Technology field for 25+ years in 7 different industries. Therefore, I can provide real life math examples as well as draw on my experience to present different kinds of solutions that are meaningful to the student.
-- I also do volunteer work to give back to various communities.

-- We need to start with foundational concepts, and understand them by practice.
-- Terms and vocabulary is important and these will be reinforced through both definitions and examples.
-- We will learn to interpret questions by breaking them down into smaller parts and then putting it back together.
-- Diagrams, charts, maps, pictures, and graphs will all be helpful in understanding the problems.
-- Tools such as Desmos and WolframAlpha can be used for students to verify answers.
-- Of course, the student will be tested on their knowledge through formative and summative assessments. Formative assessment will be in the form of quizzes and small questions and summative assessment in the form of tests and exams.
-- It will be important to challenge the student and support the student through their journey so they are not frustrated, but feel confident in themselves to problem solve. That is the ultimate aim for me as a Tutor.
