I've known Andrea for too many years to remember exactly how many. There are a lot of reasons why I think he'd make a great Italian teacher. I could say it's because he's a native Italian speaker, or because he has a Masters in Italian Linguistics from a top Italian university, or because he has taught Italian in Australian schools. But that is not what I am going to say. I think Andrea would be an excellent teacher because he is genuinely passionate about what he does. Whenever he learns something new, he's always ready to explain it to you with dedication and interest, as if you were in the classroom. And if that doesn't make him the ideal person to have a beer with, it certainly makes him (hopefully) an outstanding teacher.
