My teaching method emphasizes recycling. Meaning, if we work on one section of vocabulary and grammar, I find fun ways to tie those concepts with the new structures to ensure little to no gains are lost. This also gives students a chance to realize that this is not subject in which you memorize all of the content for a test to throw it out the next day. It is all connected. This recycling process is key to realizing the connectedness of language.
I am currently a high school Spanish teacher who encourages and motivates approximately 150 students every day. Prior to my first year of teaching (2017-2018 school year), I tutored college Spanish and worked as a professor's assistant for 3 years.
