About Mack
I have a teaching degree and several years of experience supporting students one-on-one and in small groups, both privately and in academic support centers. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, from students who are feeling behind or overwhelmed, to those who are doing well but want to strengthen their skills or prepare for exams and major assignments.
My approach is patient, supportive, and structured. I focus on:
- identifying where understanding breaks down,
- explaining concepts in clear, accessible ways, and
- helping students develop strategies they can use independently.
In writing support, I help with brainstorming, organization, argument development, clarity, editing, and proper academic style. In math, I focus on conceptual understanding alongside practice so students feel more confident and less anxious.

Hi! I’m a certified teacher currently working as a tutoring coordinator, with professional experience as both a private tutor and a college Writing Skills Tutor. I support students in Math (Grades 7–12), English Language Arts, and college/university writing.
My goal is to help students build strong foundations, confidence, and independent learning skills — not just finish tonight’s homework. I work with both high school and post-secondary students, and I offer individual and small-group sessions depending on student needs.
