About Teresa
I am a Certified Generalist for grades 4-8 and Special Education K-12. I have had my own classroom for ten years and substituted for another ten years. Throughout my teaching I have tutored students from my home and recently worked at Mathnasium until moving from Houston , Texas two months ago.

Having so much experience and being so familiar with the curriculum I will adopt the teaching style best suited for your child to assure they are understanding the material and we are utilizing all of our time together. I have excellent results from both teaching and tutoring with a collection of “thank you” text messages on my phone from parents. One of my strengths is explaining the work in a manner that makes it easier to understand and also being able to apply real- world examples. My patience and enthusiasm reflects in my teaching style as I enjoy working with students.
