About Theodore
My name is Theodore John, and tennis has been my passion for over 12 years, with 6 years of professional coaching experience. I am certified and have successfully trained everyone from casual recreational players to high school and college competitors, as well as adult league and tournament players. My coaching philosophy is built on patience, clear communication, positive reinforcement, and a genuine love for helping others improve. I study the game constantly and break down complex techniques into simple, actionable steps that are easy to understand and apply immediately. Students trust me because I show up prepared, focused, and genuinely invested in their progress — not just in their strokes, but in their overall confidence and enjoyment of the game. With me, you'll get professional guidance in a supportive, encouraging, and fun environment.

Hi, I'm Theodore John, a dedicated tennis coach with 6 years of experience teaching players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time, getting back into the game after a long break, or looking to take your competitive game to the next level, I tailor each lesson to your specific needs and goals. We'll work on proper stroke mechanics (forehand, backhand, serve, volley, overhead), footwork and agility, court positioning, shot selection, mental toughness, and match play strategy. My goal is to make every session productive, challenging, and enjoyable — so you leave the court feeling confident, fitter, and excited to come back for more. I provide all necessary equipment, or you're welcome to bring your own.
