About Lavinia
I love coaching actors and enabling performers to fully become who they are, and to embrace this. I have worked as a director, dramaturg and acting coach in London, the UK and Internationally (Barcelona/Vancouver/California) for many years. I believe anyone can be an actor. I am a professional Acting Coach and Theatre Director with an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have taught at drama schools across the UK and North America including RCSSD, Drama Centre London and Rose Bruford. I will help you succeed on this voyage!

I teach character transformation and can help you play that character you have always dreamed of. I will help you open up your body to characters you never thought were possible through physical and vocal exercises and h. I use a variety of techniques (Stanislavski, Laban, Yat Method) but we can discuss what works for you! I will help you: -create that show you've been dying to write -develop characters with an inner and outer life -become fluent in the work of Yat Malmgren (method used by Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hardy, Colin Firth...) -develop physical and vocal confidence -become a truthful actor ready to use all of your amazing imagination at any moment -prepare for that audition (drama schools or self taping)

Perfect! My daughter had her first session with Lavinia last week and really enjoyed it. My daughter was very impressed with the knowledge and experience Lavinia evidently brings, but found her very friendly and welcoming, and set my daughter at ease. Perhaps most importantly, Kelda felt she learned a lot in that first session, and found Lavinia's explanations clear and interesting.
