About Max
Currently studying chemical engineering at the University of Queensland. Attended school at Churchie, graduated in 2017 with an OP 3 and ATAR of 95.85. Have mentored many fellow students during my time at school, as well as helping old friends from my home town of Noosa. Mainly focused in the areas of Chemistry, Engineering and Mathematics B, but looking to expand into Physics. All students I have tutored in the past have improved their grades, the most common feedback I receive is that they improved because I'm very relatable and approachable.

Getting to know my students is extremely important, it develops a strong communication level that makes me approachable and more than just their weekly tutor. Lessons will general consist of discussing what has been taught at school since our last meeting, ensuring that they understand everything. From here on out I will attempt many questions with them on the learnt topic as this is the best way to commit the knowledge to long term memory. NEVER, NEVER EVER, will I make any student feel as if they are "dumb" for taking their time to learn any given topic, this only damages the learning process, everyone learns at their own pace.
