About Priya
Hi! I am a chemical engineering student studying at UBC, currently in my fourth year. I am excited to give back to the younger population especially during this time with online classes and show that math isn't too hard. I myself am going through online lessons in university and know it can be tough, hence a little help can go a long way. I have been teaching my sister and her friends (IB final year in high school) since the beginning of the year and loved teaching and showing them tricks to do better in exams/study healthier.

I prepare my sessions based on class syllabus, assignments that are given from school and have problem sets (if necessary) ready for practice. A typical class will include questions, thorough explanations and lots of laughs. My classes are most beneficial for grades 7-12 for students both wanting to improve their math skills and aspiring to go into engineering in University.

Perfect! Priya is a great tutor. I have seen significant improvement in chemistry after only two sessions with her. She is very patient and has a great teaching style. Chemistry has always been a course that I have struggled with however she explains complicated concepts in simple terms that are much easier to understand. As an IB student, I love that her experience a former IB student provides her insight on our curriculum which is highly helpful. She is also a senior UBC engineer student making her highly knowledgeable on high school and IB level courses. Highly recommend her for your tutoring needs!
