About August
I am an undergraduate student at Western University who is pursuing an Honors Specialization in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a Major in Medieval Studies. While I certainly enjoy the courses I take, there are times when I struggle in class and I understand that learning STEM concepts can be hard, especially if you’re trying to figure things out on your own. I want to use the knowledge I have gained to help educate those who may be struggling in the hopes that they can appreciate these subjects as I do.

I believe in trying a variety of learning approaches to discover what works best for a student.
All lessons would begin with a discussion about what concepts a student is struggling with or what they are currently learning. This would be followed by a demonstration of a practice question, followed by working through questions together with decreasing assistance until a student is able to solve them independently.
