About Cindy
I am a Master’s student in Secondary Teaching, with a CIE background and a Chemistry degree. I believe that strong foundational knowledge and self-confidence are essential during the teenage years.
Learning is not just about grades, but about building confidence in one’s ability to learn and problem solving. As someone who has worked as a Math tutor for Years 1–13, I understand the needs of students who seek extra academic support and I'm keen to have your back.

Online lessons for Years 1–13 students in New Zealand
For Years 1–8, I focus on building strong foundations step by step. It's for students to develop confidence and maintaining enjoyment in learning. Lessons will be tailored to each student’s current knowledge level and learning style.
For Years 9–13, alongside strengthening understanding and confidence, I would also place strong emphasis on exam practice, structured thinking, and identifying common mistakes. Students will be developing effective problem-solving strategies and finding the learning approaches that work best for them.
