About Ingrid
I am a second year Chemistry student at the University of Leeds, ongoing to the Danish Technical University next year.
I am a patient, rigorous and enthusiastic tutor, with experience in teaching mathematics and science at GCSE level. I can also teach Chemistry and Physics at A-level/ level 3, and would love to teach children in primary school too!
How I structure my lessons:
-Quick catch up
-Refresh over the last weeks content with problems
-Teach relevant content for note taking
-Work through problems together and then student will have the chance to have a go on their own
-Questions
My qualifications:
Chemistry BSc y1+2: first 70%
A-levels: Maths, Chemistry, Physics: A,B,B

My teaching method is specific to you, depending on what you want to get out from the lesson. Normally I will ask what topic you would like to learn or go over in the next lesson, and I will brush up on that topic prior and prepare homemade questions, that increase in difficulty.
Firstly I will make sure you have a high-level understanding of the topic. Then, if you need help we can go through questions together so that by the end you are confident answering them by yourself.
I find mathematics and science in a broader context makes the lesson much more engaging, so I will explain how the topic is applicable in the real world!
