Hi! I'm Swapan Kumar, and I’m truly excited to share the incredible world of chess with you. Chess has been a huge part of my life — not just as a game, but as a powerful tool for developing focus, discipline, creativity, and confidence. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching this beautiful game to students of all ages, and watching them grow — not just on the board, but in life — is the most rewarding part of my journey. I believe that every student has the potential to excel when given the right guidance, support, and inspiration. That’s why I’m here — to simplify the complexities of chess, make learning fun and interactive, and walk with you every step of the way on your path to mastery. I offer a complete and structured chess learning program, including: * Chess Fundamentals – rules, piece movement, check, checkmate, draw, stalemate, etc. * Tactical Training – forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, and traps * Strategic Concepts – openings, middlegame plans, endgame techniques * Time Management & Tournament Prep – clock handling, mindset, performance tracking * Game Analysis – review your games and learn from real positions Every student learns differently — and I adapt accordingly. My teaching style is: * Concept-based – not just “what to play”, but “why to play it” * Supportive & fun – I make learning enjoyable, motivating students to love the game.
