About Roberto
I'm a chess instructor, my ELO rating is 1650 on Chess.com. I've worked as a chess teacher in several private and public schools in London, such as the Dallington School, the Hackney New Primary School, the Blackheath High School, the Faraday School and the Surbiton High School. During these three years of activity I've collaborated with Mindful Chess U.K., Chess in Schools & Communities and Chess & Bridge.

I strongly believe that chess is an excellent way to improve one's critical thinking faculties and human values in geral. My lessons are based on these assumptions: the student will be led through this wonderful journey with patience and kindness and asked to participate actively and critically at any stage. Furthermore, after each session, the student will be given plenty of interesting contents and exercises to work autonomously at home. Needless to say, my lessons are great fun too!
